Sesquicentennial Pins

Did you know that the four overarching themes of Canada 150’s celebration are:

• promoting a diverse and inclusive Canada;

• supporting efforts towards national reconciliation of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians;

• reaffirming the importance of strong environmental stewardship; and,

• engaging and inspiring youth?

Are you a youth who embodies one or more of the overarching themes of Canada 150? If so, I encourage you to apply to be a recipient of the Sesquicentennial Pin and certificate.

Do you know a youth who embodies one or more of the overarching themes of Canada 150? If so, I encourage you to nominate a youth you know to be a recipient of the Sesquicentennial Pin and certificate.

Deadline:
Monday July 31, 2017

Requirements:

• 18 years old or younger;

• lives within the Town of Whitby (including Brooklin, Myrtle and Ashburn);

• embodies one or more of the overarching themes of Canada 150;
